Burn (バーン, Bān) is the Phenomenon-Type UMA that embodies burning.
It was captured by The Union, but after Unbelievable Arc, it worked under Billy. It became free again after the Loop.
Appearance[]
Burn's body is seemingly made out of magma and has flaming hair. Its first phase is never shown, but in second phase it is an incredibly large humanoid creature, with the entire Roundtable able to fit in the palm of its hand. It has large, protruding tusks and covered eyes. His core form is identical to his head in phase 2.
Personality[]
Burn claims that it wishes to pay back a debt to Billy, and when under the influence of Unjustice, Burn acts against Billy showing that this claim appears truthful. Burn's only desire expressed so far is to meet its maker.
Plot[]
Spoil Arc[]
Apocalypse made capturing of Burn as quest, allowing 6 participants and offers reward for completion the addition of 11th seat in the Union.
Juiz, Tatiana, Billy, Isshin, Phil and Top participated in the quest and managed to successfully capture Burn.
When Juiz faces Victor, her sword is imbued with fire by Burn.
Unbelievable Arc[]
After defecting from The Union, Billy uses Burn to pick up and steal the Roundtable - promptly declaring it as property of Under.[1] It was stabbed after being frozen thanks to the Union's teamwork, but managed to recover and escape to Under's HQ, where it dropped off the Roundatable. At some point he is reduced to his core form again.
Autumn Arc[]
While standing guard around Winter, Billy and Tella are using Burn's core to to stay warm.
Winter Arc[]
After Juiz arrives, Billy uses a Cube to make Burn enter Phase 2 immediately. Having anticipated this, Juiz brings out Spoil's core and feeds him a Cube so that he can handle Burn while she takes on Billy. Juiz tells Spoil to restrain Burn but to be careful as he is at a disadvantage. Spoil is insulted by this and fires his Disintegration Beam at Burn, who is unaffected and punches Spoil; Juiz tells him fire can't spoil so he must engage him physically. After Burn protects Juiz when affected by Unjustice, Spoil belittles him for feeling indebted to a human, Burn argues for a moment before firing at the cloud cover, revealing the sun, telling Spoil he wants to meet their Creator just once. Spoil finds this silly, but after Juiz loses her arm he is brought back to the Union HQ by Move.
Summer Arc[]
After the Union kills Summer, the world becomes covered in snow due to the temperature imbalance. Tella arrives and begins to negotiate with the Union but Fuuko offers to go with Under if they agree to kill Winter immediately - as Billy wants to use Unluck, they agree to the terms and Burn instantly dispatches of Winter, restoring the temperature.
Abilities[]
Fire Manipulation: Burn has the ability to generate and control fire from his colossal body.
Heat Body: Burn, as its name implies, has a body made of lava and fire that emanates a lot of heat melting metals easily wherever it goes, in addition to granting it Resistance to the intense cold generated by UMA Winter.
Regeneration: Burn is able to regenerate damage or even its entire body as long as its core exists.
Immense Strength: Burn has great physical strength befitting its colossal size managing to rival UMA Spoil.
Immense Durability: Burn has great physical durability, being able to resist several attacks from Union members in addition to the blows of UMA Spoil.
