The G-Liner (, G-Liner^?) was an artifact used by Anno Un.

Overview

The G-Liner Artifact was a fountain ink pen with swirling symbols on its grip.

Plot

On April 11th, 1972 G-Liner was found by Akira Kuno in an alley and he grabbed it, unbeknownst to him the latest Quest reward had imbued it with knowledge of the past and future of the current loop. Akira was immediately excited and tried to tell his mother but found himself unable to communicate with her or anyone; God did not want the knowledge of the loop to make things "boring" and so forced the Unknown negation upon Akira, rendering him unable to share his knowledge.

For a long time Akira was forced to live unnoticed but developed his drawing and writing skills to the point he was able to create an avatar, Anno Unn, using the G-Liner. This avatar is not technically Akira and is therefore not affected by Unknown; by this proxy was able to pen To You, From Me to share what he had learned. The 100th loop's G-Liner was destroyed during the fight against Autumn. The 101st loop's is currently in possession of Fuuko.

Abilities

The G-Liner's power in action

• Magic Drawings: Anything drawn with the pen will become a real-world object with full functionality, though only one drawing at a time can exist per user. It appears the user's drawing skill affects what items they can create; Fuuko only created simple items like a cape, while Anno Unn could duplicate UMA and Negator abilities as well as make functional copies of Artifacts. Examples include:
  • A giant guillotine used to kill some of Autumn's Juniors.
  • A large black scythe also used to kill Autumn's Juniors, alongside used by Anno to cut off their left arm.
  • Andy's left arm used by Anno to preform Andy's Parts Bullet attack.
  • A plane to escape Autumn.
  • One of Autumn's claws used to turn Andy into a book.
  • A heatproof cape
  • A copy of Life is Strange

• Loop Omniscience: As a result of the Quest Reward for capturing UMA Information, the first person to touch the artifact can see the past and future events of the current time loop in it's entirety. However, God intervened and forced the Unknown ability on the target to stop them from communicating this knowledge. On the 100th loop this was forced upon Akira Kuno. In the 101st loop, Fuuko was able to stop Akira from touching the G-Liner, preventing the manifestation of Unknown; she mentions this is a special case: all other Negations are tied to the soul and their manifestation cannot be avoided, but Unknown was specifically forced upon a target. Fuuko, already a Negator, was not affected and could wield G-Liner safely.
