Latla Mirah (ラトラ＝ミラー Ratora Mirā?) is a member of Under and works alongside Rip. She is a Negator with the alias of Untrust.
Appearance[]
Latla has short dark purple hair, which goes just past her ears and almost reaches her shoulders. She has bangs that cover her eyebrows and rest above her eyes. Latla wears big hoop earrings and has the under logo on both sides of her head as a hair accessory. Her skin is slightly tanned. She has sharp cat-like eyes, which are dark purple.
Her outfit changes with each appearance, varying from a dress to a shoulderless sweater.
In a flashback, we see that Latla used to have long hair that reached halfway down her back. She had freckles that ran across her nose, which she presumably hides with makeup in the present.
In the 101st Loop, Latla installs the Blade Runner's left leg so she may use it alongside Rip.
Personality[]
Latla is shown to be aggressive but is actually a kind person. She appears uninterested but has proven to be reliable when she needs to be. Her way of expressing is straightforward, speaking her mind when she wants to. She cares about Rip a lot, even though she doesn't show it outright.
Latla tends to predict the future, although her fortunes are always the opposite of what happens.
She seems to care about her appearance heavily, being upset that blood would ruin her makeup and complaining that her face was stuck in a weird way when she was frozen by Unmove.
In combat situations she is calm and collected, only showing a grossed-out reaction when someone is injured/killed or when there are creatures, she finds disgusting. She has no issue with putting herself in the face of danger, even throwing herself in front of a parts bullet to deflect it with her negation and protect Rip.
Plot[]
History[]
Prior to joining Under, Latla's sister, Leila, was tested for an uncurbable illness. Because even her sister's own doctor, who was famous, gave up, she turned to fortune telling to save her instead. She eventually became nation-sweeping celebrity, a master of all forms of fortune telling. However, despite this, she still lost her sister due to her prediction being negated by her awakened Untrust ability, along with Rip's Unrepair ability manifesting while operating on her, causing the surgery to fail. Latla and Rip were devastated due to her death, with Latla blaming herself for predicting the fortune that led to Leila's death and Rip blaming himself for operating on her and unintentionally triggering his Unrepair abilities. Rip tried to take his life, but Latla stopped him, only for the wound on his eye to never heal. After learning what "Negator" abilities are, the two decided to join Under to find the Ark, redo reality and bring Leila back from the dead.[3]

Ragnarok Arc[]
Following Fuuko's death and Andy's departure from the Union to track her ghost down, Latla works with the Union to track Fuuko down. However, Rip calls her one last time to reveal his intent on stealing Andy/Victor's points, causing her to leave and rush after him. As Andy and Rip fight as Ragnarok starts in earnest, Latla rescues Rip before he is defeated. She then admonishes him for always doing things by himself and never letting her risk her own life for either of their sakes. After Rip agrees to letting Latla fight with him, she then grapples Andy and uses her negator ability to redirect an attack straight at two of them so the Undead can be defeated. However, her sacrifice is in vain when Victor lends Andy his power to defeat Rip easily. Latla tells Andy the day of the surgery and the day the pair awakened their abilities, and pleads Andy to save her sister. After he leaves, a dying Rip wonders if everything he did was pointless, but Latla reassures him that by fighting, they entrusted their hopes to Fuuko and Andy, and in turn, helped to change Leila's fate. After Rip dies, Latla states he always was "so cool" before joining him.
Sick Arc[]
Fuuko met with a young Latla of the 101st loop a while ago after the young girl predicted her sister's death, who was then tasked by the Union leader to hone her fortune telling abilities. After a time skip following the successful recruitment of Chikara, Fuuko meets up with her her again in Paris, to inform her about the Union and Negators, as well as see if Rip had the potential to become Unrepair. When Sick's Juniors attack the hospital, she brings Fuuko to help contain the monsters as Rip deals with the patients. After Rip is informed of what must be done to become Unrepair, he goes to the beach along with the Mirah sisters to spend one last day as a normal person.
When Sick attacks the hospital again, the three of them rush back to go with the procedure and awaken their abilities. Leila is kept safe from Untrust and Unrepair thanks to Sean and Chikara. When Yusai approaches Rip with using the Blade Runner artifact, Latla decides to help by having her left leg amputated to fight alongside Rip, convincing him to share the burden rather bear it all on his own. With the two of them sharing the artifact, usage of her negator ability allows their attacks never miss, while also granting them perfect defense as well. With their combined hearts, they are able to evolve Blade Runner further and deal a devastating attack to Sick, though not enough to kill him.
After Andy's clone manages to beat back Sick, she and Rip then use Blade Runner to kick the degenerating clone into the sky, allowing for Andy's Unluck to destroy the meteor that was accidentally summoned. Following the success of Sick and Liela's operation, Rip and Leila prepare to wed. However, with the Union's help, she's forced into a wedding dress as well so that Rip can marry both of them. While she angrily states that polyamory is frowned upon, she is convinced by Rip that nothing will change, and they can be as happy as they were before, moving her to tears. She then (albeit drunkenly) joins the Union with Rip as thanks for saving Leila.
Powers & Abilities[]
Fortelling: Can predict things with perfect accuracy, and is said to be a master of all types of occult predictions. However, thanks to Untrust, her predictions are "negated".
Untrust: Latla's Negator ability, that causes her predictions to be completely inaccurate, which allows her to redirect attacks.
Equipment[]
Broom Artifact: An unnamed broom artifact that Latla uses as a transportation vehicle. Used in the 100th loop.
Blade Runner ( Burēdoran'nā?): In the 101st loop, Latla installs the left leg of Blade Runner which allow her to shoot blades. It also has thrusters that allow her to fly.
