Luck (ラック, Rakku^?) is the Concept-Type UMA that embodies the concept of luck. They are also known as the "Fourth Master Rule UMA".

Appearance

Luck resembles a child with light-dark hair. Their attire is a black hoodie and shorts. They have a bandage on their cheek and a wheel shaped halo floating over their head.

Personality

Not much is shown of Luck's personality, however they seems generally laid back and childish aside from nearly confronting Soul after Beast's defeat. They appear to be close with Death, as she appeals to them when Change insults her - in two occasions, Luck is depicted as riding on Death's back, further pointing at their bond.

Plot

Like all other UMAs, Luck was created by God at the beginning of the loops, when he began adding rules to the newly created world to test humans. Luck in particular was added to "incite rash behavior" and create gaps in individuals' success.

Sick Arc

Luck is first seen in the Master Room, silently looking at Fuuko. While they don't do anything, they comfort Death after the latter is insulted by Change for their smell, where they are nicknamed "Lucky" by Death, hinting at their true name.

Language Arc

After Beast is defeated and his chair begins to disintegrate, Change angrily asks Soul how just three negators could defeat a Master Rule while before it took almost the whole Union, including Andy, to defeat Sick. Soul tells her that the negators have finally begun to understand his Rule and if they continue to underestimate them, the Rules are certainly going to lose. Enraged by this, Change, Luck, War and Sick jump onto the table and are about to attack Soul but he tells them they can't beat him, furthermore that Language is on her way to kill the negator with the most advanced knowledge of souls: Ichico Nemuri.

Abilities

Luck's abilities remain unknown. However, when they almost attack Soul their halo grows much larger and several orbs appear, hinting at their attack ability.

Trivia

• Luck has a band-aid on their left cheek while their corresponding negator, Fuuko, has one on her right check.
• The shape of Luck's halo is likely a reference the Wheel of Fortune.
• Luck is the Fourth Master Rule - in Japanese culture the number four (し) is associated with death (死), because both words are pronounced the same way, shi.
• Luck is shown riding on Death's back, similarly to how Fuuko rode Andy - both being their corresponding vessels. Luck having a closer relationship with Death is also a nod to the close relationship between their Negators.
