Mui (ムイ?) was Shen's subordinate in the 100th loop, becoming the Round Table's No. 2 member after his death and a Negator, inheriting Shen's same negation: Untruth.
Her role in the 101st loop will be the same, but she will inherit the negation Unfade, passed to her by Feng during the Union's final fight against the Master Rules.
She lived in China before becoming Shen's assistant in Union.
Appearance[]
Mui is a short girl of Chinese descent. She has medium ruby color hair with white bun covers in the back of her hair. Being Shen’s subordinate, she wears the same outfit as him. This outfit consists of a white sleeveless collared shirt with a red necktie. She also wears black baggy pants that expose the hips and black gloves that go up to her arms.
Personality[]
She acts like a secretary for Shen, whom she seems to be in love with. Mui is a kind girl who is very caring to her comrades. She respects and is very protective of Shen, even getting angry and attempting to support Shen when Feng harms him. Mui is very determined to be able to fight along side and protect Shen anyway she can despite her not having a negation ability.
Plot[]
Intro Arc[]
Mui welcomes Shen after he comes back from his fight with Andy. He comments he had a good fight and asks her to smooth things with the top brass. Mui tells him that at lake Baikal is Gina and she is in pursuit of Andy, but Shen believes that Andy and Fuuko will handle it.
Spoil Arc[]
Mui helps Fuuko dress with the Union's uniform. As Fuuko wonders if she will be coming with them, Mui explains that she is neither a Negator or member of the roundtable and because of that she doesn't have an emblem and can't participate in quests. She then asks Fuuko to look after Shen.
As Andy comes and touches Fuuko accidentally, a magma erupts from the wall and Mui quickly plucks it. An alarm rings and they are informed that an UMA No.1129 has escaped. Mui reveals that UMA Clothes and that it latches on a person transforming to their most desired clothes and as the person is bewitched by the clothes, the UMA takes control of the body and goes on a rampage. As the Clothes attack Andy and he knocks its host, preferring females, Clothes latches on Mui, but her clothes barely changes. Using Mui, it attacks Andy and Shen, but Fuuko manages to touch her and knock her out with her Unluck. Mui apologize for her disservice to Shen, the one who saved her life, but he tells her her kung-fu was amazing and her daily training paid off.
She later analyzes Spoil's beam and tells Shen that it exceeds the rules of Spoil and disintegrates anything it touches. As their fight continues, she manages to pinpoint Spoil's exact coordinates and Shen manages to send Spoil and Andy is space. When Andy came back from space, by Shen's orders, she beams Spoil's core and captures it.
Powers & Abilities[]
Untruth (Loop 100): Mui can negate any conscious thought her target has, causing them to do the opposite. It is unknown if the "Rules" of the ability has changed after it was transferred to her.
This ability was attained by Mui when Shen died in the 100th Loop and passed onto her.
Unfade (Loop 101): As of Chapter 228, Feng has passed this power over to Mui. Giving her every property Feng had with it, including resisting the effects of aging from Time.
Martial Arts Expertise: Being trained by Shen, Mui is very skilled in Martial Arts and hand-to-hand combat. In the 101st loop, she learns Hakkyoku from Shen and surpasses him in raw strength before he unlocks Untruth.
Multilingualism: Mui was able to speak Mandarin before the unification of world languages in which changed her main language to English. In extra vol.7, Shen said "I like you" to Mui in Mandarin but she didn't understand, so Mui borrowed Nico's books to re-learn Mandarin from the beginning.
Equipment[]
Artifacts: Mui appears to possess various artifacts in which she uses for combat to compensate for her lack of a negation ability. Shen does not approve of her using artifacts, she states she has 8 of them.
Basho Fan: A fan that can generate powerful gusts of wind. Mui used this to dispel Feng's dust cloud.
