Overview

The Nyoi-Kinko Staff is a bo staff weapon that can expand and contract at will. It is engraved with the kanji for "Unbreakable" at each cap of the staff.

Plot

History

The artifact was uncovered in China sometime in the past. Later, Isshin got a hold of it and forged the Unbreakable metal caps on both ends. It is currently in the possession of Shen.

Spoil Arc

Shen first used this artifact in combat against the UMA Spoil. Using its ability to expand and contract at will, along with his power Untruth, he easily fought against Spoil and managed to deal some damage.

The staff's extended range

During their fight, Andy tries to help Shen by causing some explosions, but the floor crumbles beneath him, causing Shen to lose focus of Spoil, disabling his power. After some thinking, Fuuko comes up with the idea to send Spoil into space. Agreeing with the idea, Shen decides to throw Andy the staff, which he then uses to send himself and the UMA into space for their battle. Once the battle is over, Victor, Andy's original personality, returns to Earth by retracting the staff and allows Spoil to be collected by The Union. He and Shen then begin to fight, but due to Victor's overwhelming power, he is forced to stall until The Union arrives, who were called by Mui at Shen's request. Once they arrive, they begin fighting Victor while Shen stays out to recover.

Later, once Fuuko uses her Unluck on Victor, Shen can be seen using the staff to observe the fight, using his Untruth ability to hold Victor in place. He then says goodbye to Victor as several meteorites fall upon him.
