The Undead Unluck Arc is the twenty-third arc of the Undead Unluck manga series, and thirteenth arc of the 101st Loop Saga. When Ruin makes a surprise appearance trying to kill the Union, the Union's missing member, Andy, finally makes his move. This eventually leads to a final showdown for the sake of the planet.

Summary[]

As the Union celebrates their victory over saving Tatiana, Ruin suddenly attacks again, having been ordered by Soul to kill everyone except Gina and Billy. He manages to blind Chikara, and while Fuuko fights him it's revealed that he too possess understanding of his soul, making his regeneration stronger. Ruin manages to pin down Fuuko, question her as too why she gathered the Negators together in the face of Ragnorok. He is rebuffed thanks to Julia and Sean stabbing him from behind with Fuuko's beanie, allowing the last member of the Union, Andy, to finally leave the Sun and descend back to Earth. However, with Andy's restraints on the Master Rules now gone, Fuuko orders everyone to fall back and get ready for the next battle against them, while she takes on Ruin until Andy arrives.

As she battles Ruin, she asks why she sides with God, stating how his Negator ability has made him suffer like everyone else, only for Ruin to state that he loves the world, and hates humans. He eventually corners her back in Japan, at the train station where she planned to kill herself all those years ago, only to be freed thanks to Andy crashing down, Undead Unluck finally reunited. With the other members of the Union working together, they are able to launch Ruin into the sky, with Andy hitching a ride by regenerating from a piece of his flesh he left in Ruin's mouth.

In space, Andy and Ruin do battle, but after separating Blood and Shadow from Ruin, Andy, with help from Fuuko, hits Ruin with a special attack dubbed "Bad Loop", with Ruin forced to suffer endless bouts of misfortune as he is knocked away from Earth itself by endless meteors attacking him, Andy stating that he'll leave him like that for Ruin to self-reflect on himself, but allowing the two UMAs to follow to take care of him while the Union takes on God. As soon as the two UMAs leave, stars of the remaining Master Rules descend into Earth, with Andy prepared to face them all with the Union.

Back at the Union, Andy is granted the second seat from Gina, and everyone gets ready to spend the next 3 months preparing for the final battle against the Master Rules, especially Julia. However, they suddenly find time moving forward to the next quest, which Andy theorizes is thanks to the Master Rule Time. Just then, another month passes, causing the penalty of Ragnarok to be added, allowing for Sun to descend while the Master Rules are forced to merge with them thanks to Luna. Despite the sudden attack, Andy reassures the team that this "cheat" is because the UMAs are panicking thanks to Fuuko's hard work. Everyone then heads out for the final battle.

Sun attempts to fire a laser at the Earth's core to destroy it, but Fuuko has Nico unleash a makeshift version of Aegeis to stop the beam, with Chikara having stayed behind in the past four months to train himself to stop things based on sound rather than sight. Death and Luck attempt to kill him, but are stopped by Fuuko and Andy, with the remaining Negators entering the remaining satellites to defeat the other Master Rules. Luck and Death talk about Fuuko's plan to defeat the Master Rules, but counter by stating that without Unjustice, the Master Rules will overcome the Negators and win. Luck brings up the possibility of Fuuko using Remember to reawaken Juiz within Julia, but Fuuko relents on using it, at least for now, because she wants Julia to fight as she is now, not trampling over Victor's kindness. Fuuko then tells the Negators to focus on stalling the Master Rules for ten minutes while Julia goes to Apocalypse to learn about Victor.

Apocalypse, who had been forced into a new Phase by Soul, attacks Julia. However, they are unable to kill her, causing Soul to kill them. With it's last act, it gives her all of Juiz's and Victors memories, causing Soul to crash down into the Roundtable and try to kill her before Unjustice can awaken. During the battle against the other Master Rules, Feng arrives to fight Time, and grants Mei his Unfade. As Soul readies to kill Julia, her understanding of souls allows for her to resist his attacks long enough for backup to arrive, specifically half of Andy's head, which was chopped off by Death, to bring forth Victor.

Juiz's and Victors memories are shown, Juiz being chosen by Luna to become the vessel of Unjustice. Victor meanwhile would become Undead because of Juiz's negator powers causing him to announce he would become the vessel for Death.

Juiz is able to manifest Unjustice by negating Soul's attack, preventing Victor from dying, and thus, is seen by Sun as a "tragedy". With Unjustice now awoken, Fuuko finally uses Remember on everyone, allowing them to gain the upper hand on the Superior Rules, killing them all except for Sick, who is sealed away by Backs, and Soul, who furiously merges back with Sun to kill everyone, especially the now separately manifested Victor and Andy.

Despite this, without The Heart, the Union is unable to defeat Sun and Soul. Fuuko soon realizes that The Heart acts as the Heart of whoever is giving the Negator power of Unluck, thus making her heart the Artifact in question. The Union Negators then work together to safely pull out The Heart from Fuuko so she can live, even getting Akira with Unknown involved to save her. But while unconscious, Fuuko is told by Luna that the cost of using this artifact will erase the user's memories. Even so, Fuuko uses it.
